
2026 Primary Election Information

Key Election Dates
- April 20th = Voter Registration Deadline
- April 27th to May 15th = Early Voting Window
- May 8th = Absentee Ballot Request Deadline
- May 19th = Election Day
Remember: School Board races are nonpartisan and only appear on the May 19th Primary Election ballot. You cannot vote for School Board in the November General Election.

Can I Vote in District 2?
School Board District 2 covers the majority of the Druid Hills cluster (Avondale, Briar Vista, Fernbank, Laurel Ridge, and McLendon elementary school zones), the Brookhaven portion of the Cross Keys cluster (John Lewis, Montclair, and Woodward elementary school zones), and portions of the Ashford Park and Sagamore Hills elementary school zones. Additional Ways to Vote
- To Absentee Vote / Vote by Mail, you must request your ballot by May 8th and return it by Election Day (May 19th). For more information on how to request and return an absentee ballot, visit the DeKalb County Elections Office website.
- Voting on Election Day (May 19th). You can vote at your assigned precinct on election day between 7am and 7pm. Visit My Voter Page to confirm your precinct. For additional information on how to vote on election day, visit the DeKalb County Elections Office website.
